Real St. Paul Park Wedding: Celeste + Andrew
September 3rd, 2010 · No Comments
Celeste + Andrew
August 2010
Celeste and Andrew chose the amazingly beautiful University Club in Downtown St. Paul for their reception and Mears Park for their wedding. When I heard that they were getting married right across from my favorite tequila bar, Barrio, I suggested we head in there for some pictures. As completely open and flexible this couple were they went for it and the pictures turned out just as I had imagined them.” -Brooke Ringdahl of ta’rooke photography

We are excited to announce the winner of our Say Something Sweet contest. We received some truly amazing entries and thank everyone who participated! Also, thank you to Lake Champlain Chocolates for partnering with us and giving this special bride-to-be amazing favors for her wedding day!
Congratulations to Tara!
Here is Tara’s winning entry:
“I happily admit that I am addicted to WeddingWire. I have a browser open at all waking hours (and have stayed up late just because there is a good discussion on the forums). I cannot imagine planning a wedding without the help of your site. I would have lost it and shot my MoH long ago. The reason I joined WeddingWire was for your tools. I love the checklist and budget features since they help keep me on track. However, the best part about WeddingWire was something I didn’t join expecting- the friendships. I have no doubt that I will still be on WeddingWire long after I am actually married just to provide support and help to my WeddingWire family. I can log on in a terrible mood and before I realize it I am laughing about hilarious postings. I can vent without worrying what people will think, and I can get honest but constructive comments on my wedding plans. When Roger and I had to postpone the wedding indefinitely because of my health issues I actually felt more comfortable talking to the women on WeddingWire than anyone. They made a terrible time a lot easier. I was overjoyed the day I could get back on and tell my WW Sisters that I was healthy enough to start planning again. There are other wedding sites out there (apparently) but none that even come close to rivaling WeddingWire.”

Real Rustic Oregon Wedding: Heather + Ananth

Heather + Ananth
August 2010
Ceremony and Reception Venue: Private Property in Sisters, OR
From the Photography: “Heather and Ananth WANTED to be photographed. Not because weddings and photographers go hand in hand, but because they knew that they wanted someone to perfectly capture their attitudes, goofiness, love and fun personalities… its as if they already knew how they wanted to be immortalized in the camera, how they wanted to be captured on film, so that years down the road, they could look back at the images and see THEMSELVES in them…We are so lucky to meet people like Heather and Ananth and to witness sincere emotion and important milestones such as this day was.” -Alice & Josh, Mosco Photo
